Amhránai mór le rá í Bianca Castafiore, Éan Ceoil Milano, mar thugtar uirthi. Nuair a thugann sí cuairt ar an gCaptaen Haileabó i Radharc na Mara, scaiptear ráfla go bhfuil focal is lámh eatarthu, rud a chuireann an Captaen ar buile. An chéad rud eile, tá na meáin ag triall ar Radharc na Mara agus nuair a sciobtar seoid luachmhar an amhránaí – smaragaid – tá ina rírá ceart. Cuirtear an milleán ar na Giofóga ach ní dóigh le Tintin gurb iad na Giofóga na coirpigh sa chás seo. Cás casta, cás thar a bheith suimiúil!
Translation of The Casta Castafiore Emerald from the Tintin series. Bianca Castafiore, the Milano Songbird as she is called, is a famous singer. When she visits Captain Haileabó in Seaview, a rumour is spread that they are engaged, which infuriates the Captain. The next thing, the press is descending on Seaview and when the singer’s valuable jewel is taken, chaos ensues. The Giofóga are lbamed, but Tintin doesn’t believe that they are to blame. It’s a winding and complicated tale.
