"The poems in this collection are ones I have chosen out of the Irish poems I wrote in the interim between around 2005 and 2015. I lived in Wales at the beginning of that period until 2007. Then I spent the years between 2007 and 2010 in Poland. I happened to be in Germany from 2011 to 2013, and mostly in Ireland since the, along with other countries, including Romania and Britain, and America. I therefore dedicate Rún na mBradán to Irish speakers who have spent a lot of their life overseas, and especially to those Gaeilgeoirí who live around the world in this day and age"
