Well if the sheep was puzzled by the Puffin’s landing, it’s nothing to the puzzlement of seeing our two woolly friends enjoying a smoke! This wonderfully comical image is typical of the humour that makes Thomas Joseph’s paintings so loved.
This coaster would make a fun addition to any dining table and may even spark an after-dinner debate about the joys or perils of smoking…..Who knows? It’s a truly bizarre scene that can convey a message of endearment or even of gentle chastisement!
One thing for sure is that the image is certain to raise a smile and the coaster makes a wonderful small gift, for smokers, non-smokers or maybe even those in-betweeners?
