Scholars and folklore collectors came from far and wide to listen to the stories of Micí Sheáin Néill Ó Baoill and this is the first collection of his stories to be published. There are stories about kings and heroes, about ordinary people who encountered extraordinary beings, about wild animals and fairies, and much more. There are questions at the end of the book that would be useful in a classroom setting, and the stories themselves are well-suited to storytelling competitions.
